Me

Welcome to Team McLaren!

Before I tell you a bit about me and my story, I’d like you to meet the Team McLaren management group who play a big part in helping me to help my team.

Thanks to these guys, I’m proud to be able to offer personal attention and help in getting started to every single person who joins my group.

First up is Troy from North Carolina who has to be one of the friendliest, most helpful guys I’ve ever met.

Next is Dave from Canada who’s a real tech guy with the patience of a saint in helping new members get up and running.

And last but not least is Catherine, who lives close to me in England.

So now you’ve met my wonderful helpers, let me tell you a bit about me and my background.

Well, I’m in my mid-50s and live in County Durham in the North-East of England. If you’re not familiar with England, it’s about halfway between London and Edinburgh.

Ann Wedding Photo

Mr McLaren and I (pictured left in 1976) married and divorced young (as friends, thank goodness), before we  had kids, and I’ve never married again.

Several years after my divorce I moved to Germany, for love. I didn’t speak the language so my career choices were limited.

.

Luckily, the British Army was stationed close by and I found a job as an office clerk at the Miltary Hospital.

I’d been good at languages at school so I picked up German quite quickly, and was quite in demand as a translator with my soldier colleagues, most of whom spoke no German whatsoever.

Blackie That gave me the idea to become a translator but if I’m honest, it would probably have remained a pipedream if it hadn’t been for our much-loved dog, Blackie, who used to howl like a banshee when my partner and I were at work.

The complaints of the neighbours spurred me on to give up my job and stay at home with Blackie.

.

So, much to my own surprise, I suddenly found myself as a freelance translator!

This was before the Internet and as a native English speaker in Germany, I had the benefit of scarcity value and my business took off quite quickly.

Ann and UweFast forward 16 years to 2007. By this time I had returned home to England, leaving my lovely partner, Uwe, behind (but he’s still my best friend and visits often).

I was still working as a translator until suddenly, from one day to the next, I lost my biggest client and with it half my income.

I was panic stricken!

.

That’s when I turned to the Internet looking for income opportunities. I’d worked for myself from home for so long that the idea of working for someone else was out of the question.

In any case, at my age, who’d have wanted me?!

Within the next 6 months I ended up joining no less than 3 different network marketing businesses!

They were all reputable companies with products I believed in but none of them provided any real training and support. The “training” consisted of scripts I was supposed to slip into any conversation I had. According to the manual, everyone I met was a potential prospect.

I’ve always been quite shy and so the idea of pitching my business to complete strangers was as bad as having all my teeth pulled out with no anaesthetic.

I knew there had to be a better way to build a business but I just didn’t know how.

Slowly it began to dawn on me that it was going to take years before I replaced my lost translating income in an MLM business. And that was best-case scenario. I didn’t even allow myself to think about the worst case scenario – savings gone and spending my old age in poverty.

AND THEN I FOUND THIS BUSINESS!

That was on 30 October 2007, the most important day of my working life to date.  And the rest, as the saying goes, is history!

.

Ann In MagazineThanks to the support, the step-by-step training and automated marketing system, I am now approaching the half a million dollar mark in earnings.

I am the most successful woman in the history of the company.

And believe me, I am still pinching myself.

I’ve even been featured in a business magazine!

I hate the limelight so my pride and excitement at winning awards is always tempered by my horror of having to go up on stage to receive my prize and make a short speech.

Ann McLaren At HomeDespite my new-found wealth I still live in the same house I bought in 1981, before my time in Germany.

I like it here, I have lovely neighbours and I’d rather invest the money I’m making to ensure that I’ll be wealthy for the rest of my life.

And then pay cash for my dream home!

Ann McLaren flying business classOne thing I am very happy to spend money on is travel.

In addition to holidays and vacations, with our wealth group we travel to exotic locations around the world (next time we’ll be going to Jamaica).

And if you’ve ever arrived at your destination tired, aching and grouchy after several hours scrunched up in the cheap seats, you’ll understand when I say that once you’ve flown business/club class on a long-distance flight, you’ll never fly economy/coach ever again!

Wherever you are in the world, if  you’d like to look inside my “club class” business and see how it can change YOUR life the way it’s changed mine, then please enter your name and email address in the form on the top right of the main page.

And I’ll see you on the inside!

To your extraordinary success,

Ann McLaren Signature
